Text, Symbol & Notation Tools

Text, symbol, and notation tools—ready to copy.

LiteralKit is a free set of text symbol and notation tools you can use in the browser. Type a short line, pick a converter or a character board, and copy the result into a bio, chat, document, comment, or homework note. The kit splits work into notation, writing, and symbol jobs so each page stays on one task. Use the registered notation tools for exponents, formulas, and encodings, Unicode letter styles for names, and translators or charts when you need a symbol set. These text symbol and notation tools do not install font files. Coverage gaps and, on Shakespeare, a model-backed rewrite are explained on each tool page.

Why text symbol and notation tools beat font files

A font file adds shapes to one computer. If the reader does not have that file, the look disappears. Text symbol and notation tools work differently: they map letters and digits to Unicode code points that many phones, browsers, and chat apps already know how to draw. You copy characters, not a stylesheet, so the result can survive apps that strip bold and italic. That is why a superscript exponent, a gothic name, or a circled label can still read as plain text after paste.

Notation, writing, and symbol are not three names for the same converter. The notation shelf contains Superscript, Subscript, and Binary. Writing’s registered style and platform tools include Italic, Gothic, Bubble, Monospace, Glitchy text, and Cursed text. Symbol mapping and lookup tools include Braille, Morse, Enchanting table, Minecraft formatter, Wingdings, and Alphabet. Pick the category that matches the job instead of hoping one generator covers every alphabet.

This kit is not a desktop font menu and not a design canvas. Unicode coverage is uneven. Some styles miss digits or lowercase; some destinations show a box when a glyph is absent. Each tool states those limits instead of inventing lookalikes.

How to choose among the pages

Each of these text symbol and notation tools handles one job. The notation choices are Superscript, Subscript, and Binary. Registered font-style and platform generators include Italic, Gothic, Bubble, Monospace, Glitchy text, and Cursed text. Symbol mapping and lookup tools include Braille, Morse, Enchanting table, Minecraft formatter, Wingdings, and Alphabet. Copy-focused symbol tools include Em Dash, Heart fonts, Heart symbols, Music symbols, Moon phase, Cross symbols, Flower symbols, Star symbols, and Math symbols. Open the page that matches the task, type a short sample, and copy only what still reads clearly.

People use text symbol and notation tools for math homework, chemistry formulas, gamer tags, social bios, and anywhere rich text is stripped but Unicode remains. The homepage specimen converts superscript and subscript in the browser; other pages explain their own limits. Shakespeare is a model-backed rewrite, not a local mapping. If a destination font is missing a glyph, you will see a box rather than a substitute face. No account is required, and each tool stays free to use.
