These are Unicode characters you can select and paste—not images and not a font file. Support varies by app and device, so test uncommon glyphs before publishing.
This board keeps 14 unique character sequences chosen only for floral ornaments and flower emoji. It preserves 🏵️ as U+1F3F5 U+FE0F, rather than dropping its emoji variation selector, and does not try to cover every botanical or decorative Unicode character.
LiteralKit deduplicates exact character sequences and corrects this selection when a source or grouping needs revision.

✿ (black florette) and ❀ (white florette) are dingbats: printer’s flowers that usually take the color of surrounding type. ❁ is an eight-petal outlined black florette, heavier than ✿. ⚘ is the floral “flower” dingbat, a botanical printer’s mark rather than a photo-realistic bloom. These four sit in the dingbat group because they behave like text ornaments. They are not cherry-blossom emoji, and they will not turn pink on iOS the way 🌸 does. If you need a monochrome flower that matches a heading, start with ✿ or ❀.
The emoji group is species-like pictures: 🌸 cherry blossom, 🌺 hibiscus, 🌻 sunflower, 🌹 rose, 🌼 blossom, 🥀 wilted flower, 🪷 lotus, 💐 bouquet, 🏵️ rosette. 💮 WHITE FLOWER is the odd one out. It is widely used as a Japanese “very good” or “well done” stamp—not a white daisy, and not a bleached 🌸. A student worksheet that wants a flower should not paste 💮 expecting a bloom; a grader’s sticker that wants 💮 should not paste 🌼. 🏵️ includes an emoji variation selector on this board so phones prefer the colorful rosette. 💐 is a bunch, not one flower.
Lookalikes: ❁ next to 🌼 can both read as “a flower with many petals” at small size. ⚘ can be mistaken for a star-like ornament. 🥀 is a wilted rose, not a memorial cross. Florettes ✿❀ sometimes get used as list bullets or as cute prefixes the way sparkles are used; they are still flowers, not stars. Star dingbats ★ ☆ ✦ and sparkle emoji ✨ live on Star Symbols. This picker does not duplicate that set. If you came here looking for a sparkle, use that page.
What this page is not: it is not every Unicode botanical symbol, not a florist catalog, and not a seasonal sticker pack. There is no separate “birth flower” tool and no extra guide. Click copies a character. Newer emoji such as 🪷 may box on older phones; ✿ and 🌸 are the safer fallbacks. Win + . and macOS Character Viewer both search “flower,” but they mix dingbats with emoji. Read the card name. If you need a star, leave this page.
Click any symbol on this page. It copies as plain text so you can paste it into notes, bios, or messages.
Some devices lack a glyph for newer or rarer Unicode flowers. Try a more common character such as ✿ or 🌸, or paste a short test in your destination app.
