Examples

Each example converts its supported letters to Unicode Mathematical Fraktur (blackletter) while keeping spaces, digits, and punctuation unchanged.

Character coverage

Unicode Mathematical Fraktur covers the Latin alphabet, but it does not turn every character into a styled version.

Letters
All Latin A–Z and a–z convert to Mathematical Fraktur. Five capitals use their dedicated Unicode characters: C→ℭ, H→ℌ, I→ℑ, R→ℜ, Z→ℨ.𝔄 𝔅 ℭ … 𝔷
Digits and symbols
Digits, punctuation, emoji, and spaces stay unchanged because Unicode defines no matching Fraktur forms for them.
Unicode text, not formatting
The result is copyable Unicode text, not a font-style instruction. Its appearance can vary with the destination app and font.

How it works

The shortest path stays visible and predictable on both desktop and mobile.

  1. Choose Gothic text

Open the Gothic Font Generator when you need copyable blackletter-style letters in a plain-text destination.

  2. Enter plain text

Letters convert immediately to Unicode Fraktur. Digits, punctuation, and emoji stay exactly as typed.

  3. Copy the result

Paste into bios, posts, or messages. If a destination lacks a Fraktur glyph, it may show a fallback box for that character.

Compatibility honesty

What copied Gothic text can and cannot do.

Looks vary by app
Fraktur glyphs depend on the destination font; some apps render them differently or not at all.
Not searchable as plain text
Styled letters are different code points, so they may not match plain-text search.
Screen readers
May read Fraktur letters individually or skip them; avoid for essential information.

Frequently asked questions

Honest limits make the copied result easier to trust.

Is this a real font?

No install—it is Unicode text. Each letter is a different character that happens to look like Gothic blackletter.

Why did my number not change?

Unicode has no Fraktur digits, so numbers and punctuation are left untouched.

Will it look the same everywhere?

Not guaranteed. Appearance depends on the destination app and font.
