What are these symbols?
Music symbols are Unicode text characters that represent notes, accidentals, clefs, rests, and related marks. They stay selectable and copyable as text instead of becoming an image.
Music emoji are also Unicode characters, but platforms may render them as colorful graphics rather than text-like notation.
May show as a box on some devices — paste a quick test where you’ll use it.

Frequently asked questions
How do I copy a music symbol?
Choose a category, then click any symbol or combo. It is copied right away, and it also appears on the selection board below.
What’s the difference between a music symbol and a music emoji?
Music symbols are text characters such as ♪, ♭, and 𝄽. Music emoji such as 🎵 and 🎸 are colorful emoji that can look different across platforms.
Will these work on Instagram, TikTok, or Discord?
You can paste these Unicode characters into those apps, but rendering depends on the app, device, and available font. Paste a short test where you plan to use it before relying on a less common symbol.
Can I copy multiple music symbols at once?
Yes. Each symbol you click collects on the board in click order. Select Copy on the board to copy the complete sequence without automatic spaces.
Why does a music symbol show as a box?
A box usually means the receiving device or app does not have a font for that Unicode character. Try a more widely supported symbol or paste a quick test in the destination first.
How do I copy a quarter rest?
Open Clefs & rests, then click quarter rest. It copies as a Unicode music symbol and the page flags that it may need a font with Musical Symbols support.
